Noise emissions caused by wind turbines are becoming a growing health-related problem internationally.

Noise monitoring helps to capture the overall picture of the noise situation.

The aim was to find out how the sound pressure level in the vicinity of a WTG area changes over 5 months in a defined proximity to residential areas and is influenced by different weather conditions as well as the occupancy rate.
