How does diribo support me in entering the products?
For every product type (e.g. pressure sensor), key attributes such as measurement range and protection class are entered into diribo. These key attributes are available on diribo for a precise product search by customers. Present your products in the best way.
There are various options available to you for entering your product data. Log in to access the import/export function, then go to Registered Products.
Import your data as Excel lists
If your product data is available in Excel lists, you can upload this data with the diribo import function. We will review the data and contact you if we have any questions. After you have imported your product data for the first time, you can quickly and conveniently update the data with subsequent imports on diribo.
Import data from your own product management
You can export the product data from your own product management (merchandise management, PIM, etc.) and save it on diribo using the import function. We will review the data and contact you if we have any questions. After you have imported your product data for the first time, you can quickly and conveniently update the data with subsequent imports on diribo.
Transferring your product data from documents/data sheets into Excel templates
If your product data is not available in a structured and machine-readable format, you can simply add the information to the Excel templates provided by diribo and upload the form on diribo. The Excel templates are available for download when you log in. Here, you can then enter the desired attributes in the columns provided and transmit the file to us via the import function. If the product data change, you can easily revise the Excel list. Once you have uploaded the Excel lists to diribo, your product data will be updated automatically.
Remove products from manually entered Excel lists
If you have entered your products manually in Excel lists and later export them from diribo as Excel lists for processing, you will find an Excel column in the Excel lists for product maintenance with the designation "Delete product yes/no". To delete the product, please enter Yes here. When you import the edited Excel list back into diribo, the delete operation is performed. Please do not remove or overwrite any rows in the Excel list. The Excel column "Delete product yes/no" can remain empty or e.g: contain "no" if the product should not be deleted.
You have entered your data in the previous version of diribo. How can you continue managing this data?
Did you enter your product data in the previous version of diribo or import the data into diribo in the form of Excel lists? You can download this product data as Excel lists from the diribo administration area for every product type that has been entered (e.g. pressure sensor). These lists can be edited quickly and easily and then uploaded to diribo again. Your data is then updated automatically on diribo.
In case you want to keep your product data always up-to-date connected to your corporate database, diribo provides you with appropriate options.
The diribo web API
diribo provides you with a web API This allows you to import and manage (edit, delete, ...) your product data via a uniform interface.
You can use your own database or application to maintain your product data in diribo. Diribo supports you in this by providing documentation and, if necessary, direct contact (email/phone).
Product maintenance and administration can also be automated via this diribo interface. Simply enter your products in your database/application. It will then automatically update on diribo. A live comparison is also possible.
The diribo Web-API is provided as REST-API. This ensures easy integration into many programming languages and libraries. JSON (Java Script Object Notation) is used as data format. Simply call us and we'll be happy to offer competent advice. Service Hotline: +49 (0)30 629 383 351

How can product data, data sheets and user manuals be stored for your products?
If you would like to place product images, data sheets, user manuals and the like on diribo, we recommend uploading a ZIP file containing all of the information. You can upload the files after logging in under Registered Products using Product Data Import. The file names require a unique reference to the item number so that it can be assigned to the correct product.
How can I update my product data on diribo?
All product data can be updated with any of the provided import options.
The imported data is not visible to the customers
If your data has been imported for the first time, it is saved in the administration area (accessible via your login) at "Registered Products" in "Disabled". The products are not visible to customers online until you have checked them for correctness and enabled them.
The product data have been imported into diribo, but are neither visible in the administration area (accessible via login) nor online.

Contact form How do I enter optional data for an attribute?
Information that is optional to a value in your data sheet is entered below the attribute itself. That way, the customer immediately recognizes the further possibilities that this attribute additionally offers.
Example:
Product attribute in data sheet:
Spindle actuation by spring force (optionally vacuum, compressed air)
Entry in diribo:
Data entered under the attribute "Spindle actuation": spring force, vacuum, compressed air. Multiple entries such as these must be separated either by comma or by using an Excel column for each entry. If the Vacuum and Compressed Air options are entered under the diribo attribute field "Other Functions/Options", the customer would lose the connection to the function (attribute) of the spindle actuation. It would not be immediately obvious what the basic possibilities of spindle actuation are (spring force, vacuum, compressed air).
In this way, the customer can see the basic possibilities of spindle actuation. Thus, the customer receives information that these functions are optional in the supplier data sheet.
What do I enter in the attribute field "Other Functions/Options"?
A product type basically has several diagnostic functions such as error self-diagnosis, remote diagnosis, etc.
In this case the attribute "Diagnostic functions" could be available on diribo. At this place you can enter the diagnostics functions. However, in many cases these are individual functions for which a separate attribute field is not meaningful. Then this function is entered under "Other Functions/Options".
The product attribute such as "Error diagnosis" can also be an optional function of the product. If no separate attribute field is available as in this option "Error diagnosis" example, the attribute data can be entered here.
Manually entered products, whose product item numbers consist of many attribute combinations.
The product data are available exclusively in the form of data sheets. In some data sheets, the item number of a product is composed of multiple attributes. To avoid having to enter this large number manually, all data of an attribute are combined under a master item number.
Example: Speed sensor WUG 8258- K_ _ _ _ _ - V_ _ _ _ _ _ _
K = Speed range (200 rpm | 400 rpm | 600 rpm | 800 rpm | 900 rpm)
V = Shaft diameter (20mm | 35mm | 50mm | 65mm | 80mm)
Under the attributes "Speed range" and "Shaft diameter", all values are entered in diribo.
Enter the basic item number as item number in diribo, for all possible number/value combinations of the product e.g. the designation series. The item number and the entries in diribo cover all possible product combinations. This results in the following item number for the entry in diribo: WUG 8258-series.
