ASC DiSens MD digital triaxial accelerometer
2019-06-13 07:21:08, ASC GmbH Extremely precise and absolutely reliable
New digital sensor series simplifies the entire measurement chain
The digital sensors of the new ASC DiSens series impress with their high accuracy and low susceptibility to faults. Users can also eliminate the need for costly external data collection. Ideal areas of application for the sensors include bridge and building monitoring as well as machine and equipment monitoring in the area of predictive maintenance.
ASC starts the new product line with the digital triaxial accelerometer ASC DiSens MD-2/4/8. The sensor offers measurement ranges of +/-2g, +/-4g and +/-8g and enables highly accurate measurements due to a low noise density. Since an analog-to-digital converter already converts the analog input signals into digital output signals in the sensor, external measurement data acquisition is no longer necessary. The ASC DiSens MD is connected to a standard PC via EtherCAT.
Via daisy chaining, up to 12 of the sensors can be connected to each other via cables with a length of up to 50 m each, without any interference. The sensors are powered by a Power-over-Ethernet network adapter.
A special advantage for users is the included full license for the comprehensive software package DEWESoft X3. It offers numerous facilitations for daily test and measurement work. The software convinces with a wide range of functions and provides test and measurement engineers with a great time saving. Moreover, with their help, users can easily add new applications without having to invest in additional hardware. A single software thus fulfills all requirements from recording to analysis and reporting of measurement data. The learning curve for familiarization is low.
