B+B Thermo-Technik GmbH receives DAkkS accreditation for calibration laboratory

Today's measuring equipment must deliver reliable and precise results, which is also reflected in various quality management systems. Growing quality demands and increasingly strict guidelines lead to ever higher requirements, rules and specifications in the production and manufacturing process. Whether production or office management, many processes are monitored and checked by measurement technology.
The quality management systems of our customers also require metrological traceability of the measuring and testing equipment used. As a manufacturer of temperature and humidity measurement technology, we can now offer measurement technology and calibration services from a single source. For this purpose, a quality management system according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 was introduced.
Accredited calibrations according to this standard guarantee metrological traceability to national and international standards and have international recognition via multilateral agreements (EA/ILAC) in the signatory states.
Since every measuring device ages and drifts due to environmental influences or its use, regular calibrations maximize the safety of its use. The process of calibration thus helps to ensure quality and ensures that scrap, rework and replacement claims can be reduced or even avoided. The B+B calibration service thus increases manufacturer quality to a high degree.
