BROSA invests in high-performance calibration technology
2015-05-04 04:22:09, BROSA GmbH In recent years, customers have been demanding sensors with ever higher measuring ranges. A recent successful project in the offshore sector, where a measuring range of -3400...+5700kN was required, prompted BROSA to purchase another even more powerful calibration machine. With this investment, BROSA is now able to calibrate sensors with breaking loads up to 12MN in-house.
Martin Wagner, Member of the Board of BROSA AG says: "We always try to meet the current and future needs of our customers. This can only be achieved through constant further development and innovation. We are very proud to be one of the few leading companies in Europe capable of calibrating such forces."
This investment means that customer orders can be processed faster and more cost-effectively, as all manufacturing steps take place under one roof. This offers the further advantage that all work steps meet the high in-house requirements.
"The purchase was only possible due to our currently good economic situation and increasing order numbers. I am convinced that the acquisition of the new calibration machine and permanent further development in the field of sensor technology will not only enable us to expand our market share in the offshore sector," Wagner adds.
Through permanent further developments, with the aim of fulfilling individual solutions for customers to perfection, BROSA always wants to be one step ahead of the requirements of the market. Only those who develop products with passion will never stop asking themselves questions.
BROSA is the leading manufacturer of force and pressure sensors and electronic components and is headquartered in Tettnang, southern Germany. The company, with an in-house production depth of over 95%, specializes in customer-specific products for safety-relevant applications. With its more than 100 employees, it produces over 12,000 sensors annually.
