The prerequisite for more demanding quality standards lies in the unrestricted precision and functional efficiency of the measuring instruments involved, which in turn depends on careful calibration as well as sound prediction of measurement uncertainties in subsequent processes. Regular calibration processes in accordance with ISO 16063 and ISO 17025 (calibration of accelerometers) allow this process to be continuously monitored, documented and analyzed.

The calibration laboratory of PCB® in Hückelhoven offers as a service the calibration of accelerometers according to ISO 17025 as well as factory calibrations for microphones and impulse hammers.
