Digital gauges from WayCon - highly precise and versatile in use

WayCon Positionsmesstechnik has expanded its product portfolio with digital touch probes from the HEIDENHAIN SPECTO (ST) and METRO (MT) series. The probes feature a very high system accuracy of up to ±0.2 μm on a measuring range of up to 30 mm. Since the measuring pin can be actuated either pneumatically or by the test specimen, the WayCon probes are versatile. They are suitable for production metrology and for multi-point measuring stations as well as for monitoring measuring equipment and as position measuring devices.

The digital probes work quickly, safely and accurately. Thanks to the robust design and high thermal stability, they can also be used on production equipment and machines. The SPECTO series also has a protection class of up to IP67.

Due to their compact designs, several probes can be excellently combined to measure an object at several points simultaneously. The incremental output signal of the touch probes can be directly connected to a PLC or to a readout of the measured values by means of a position display on site.
