ElectroTEC Pioneer Award 2025: SONOTEC wins 2nd place

SONOTEC is proud to have won the second place in the "Electronic Components" category at the prestigious ElectroTEC Pioneer Award ceremony in Würzburg, Germany. The technology leader was awarded for its groundbreaking product development of the SONOFLOW CO.55 SD V3.0, an innovative ultrasonic clamp-on flow meter designed for highly accurate flow measurement and volume dosing in bioprocessing. Setting a new standard in the bioprocessing and life sciences industries, this unique sensor features an integrated, easy-to-use touch display and is the only flow meter of its kind in the world.

The award is determined by audience vote. It underlines the strong market response and innovation behind the SONOFLOW CO.55 SD V3.0. “We are honored to receive this recognition from industry professionals. The SONOFLOW CO.55 SD V3.0 flow meter series combines highest measurement accuracy and intuitive usability. It is the only sensor in its class that allows real-time adjustments via touch display. Dosing applications from less than 1ml up to several 1,000L can be realized with the sensor, allowing users seamless scalability in their processes. Dosing measurements can be carried out simply and easily via the touch display, without an additional control unit.

The sensor with integrated electronics is available in different sizes, making it suitable for a wide range of bioprocess steps. The GMP-ready stainless steel housing ensures easy cleaning and optimal performance in cleanrooms.

Phoenix Contact took first place in the ElectroTEC Pioneer Award in the Electronic Components category. Becon Electronics came in third.
