Esz AG expands the range of accredited calibrations in cooperation with Microtech Gefell

esz AG calibration & metrology offers additional accredited calibrations as of 01.11. New in the portfolio of Europe's largest independent calibration laboratory are acoustic measurands and the mechanical measurand "acceleration". For this purpose, esz AG cooperates with the renowned microphone manufacturer Micotech Gefell GmbH.
With more than 200 accredited metrology laboratories from all technical fields, esz AG is one of the largest independent metrology laboratories in Europe. The calibration service provider from Eichenau near Munich is continuously developing this portfolio.
In order to be able to offer its customers additional measurement parameters, esz AG is breaking new ground and cooperating with the microphone manufacturer Microtech Gefell.
Microtech Gefell manufactures high-quality microphone capsules and condenser microphones for audio and measurement applications.
The beginnings of measurement applications date back to 1937, when the Rel mph 9 Tz 20 capsule, also known as the "rail capsule," was built for a Siemens & Halske measurement microphone.
Today's service offering includes, in addition to microphone production, calibration of the microphones in the company's own laboratory.
The company is accredited for acoustic measurands as well as for the mechanical measurand "acceleration" according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018.
The cooperation between esz AG calibration & metrology and Microtech Gefell provides for accredited calibrations of these measurands to be performed at Microtech in Gefell, on behalf of esz AG.
The two cooperation partners want to examine how they can use the esz software solution "calibration expert" for this purpose. This would ensure seamless integration and documentation in esz AG's quality management system. The esz software "calibration expert" supports calibration technicians, engineers and metrologists in the calibration and creation or handling of calibration certificates.
