HBM offers forward-looking torque calibration services
2015-05-26 10:38:31, Hottinger Brüel & Kjaer GmbHManufacturers and users of engine test stands tend to recognize only DAkkS calibration certificates from accredited calibration laboratories. They usually have to reckon with long delivery times. In a competitive environment, however, speed is a project-critical factor. HBM Test and Measurement (HBM), on the other hand, offers calibration in its own accredited calibration laboratory with a short delivery time.
HBM's torque calibration system is DAkkS accredited from 30 kN-m to 400 kN-m (according to ISO 17025). As a result, the HBM calibration laboratory now covers the complete range of the torque product portfolio from 0.5 kN-m to 400 kN-m.
The new system is a vertically aligned reference system with the possibility to calibrate both right and left torques according to the recognized standards DIN 51309 and VDI2646. With a proven measurement uncertainty of 0.1% and international recognition of calibration certificates, HBM offers a decisive competitive advantage.
