Industrial screens with display port interface

Compared to DVI and VGA, Displayport has the advantage that much smaller connectors can be used, which do not require a screw connection. In addition, monitors connected via DP show a better quality picture than other transmission methods. In addition, the DisplayPort allows communication in both directions: touchpads, cameras and microphones attached to the screen no longer need their own cables.

Compared to the now established HDMI connector, the DisplayPort is not patented and therefore does not generate "external costs" for licenses, import taxes and associated administration: so it comes in significantly cheaper.

For the new 15", 17" and 19" displays with touchpad, for example, the UNO-2184G/3082G/3084G industrial PCs, which are also new and have a DisplayPort interface, are suitable. The cable length between computer and screen is limited to 1.5m.
