Measure positions, speeds, travel lengths reliably and precisely

Positions, speeds and travel lengths of, for example, conveyor belts, film and paper webs or cardboard boxes, etc. can be reliably and efficiently recorded with the measuring systems from Wachendorff Automation.
With the new LMSMA2x/3x measuring systems, Wachendorff Automation ideally meets the highest requirements: Constant and exact measuring results due to optimum, low-slip measurement under a wide range of conditions; resolutions from 1.0 to 0.008 mm/pulse; low space requirement due to compact design; long service life due to high mechanical robustness of all components; fast and flexible mounting on the machine.
Wachendorff has significantly optimized the adjustment options of the overall systems, which are based on a spring arm with a central spring. This results in constructive and monetary advantages:
The newly developed central adjustment with its 10° detents allows 36 alignment positions. In combination with the oblong holes of the mounting bracket, a much greater scope for mounting is opened up.
The preload of the spring is adjustable in steps of 5 N, up to a maximum of 30 N preload. In combination with the measuring wheel matched to the measuring surface, the optimum contact pressure is guaranteed.
The pre-assembled systems can remain mounted during installation in the machine or during readjustment during commissioning, because the LMSMA systems from Wachendorff offer the option of fixing the spring arm in a rest position. The spring arm is then returned to the working position and continues to work with the previously set contact pressure.
