Product Description: MESSOTRON ES 5

The MESSOTRON ES 5 is a highly compact and rugged strain gauge sensor designed for outdoor monitoring and will last for more than 20 years of stable operation. Its high resolution of 5 µm and excellent temperature compensation guarantee measurement accuracy in all climatic conditions. The sensor has a high IP rating for protection and chemical resistance for use in harsh environments. It supports 12 to 24 volts DC and has diverse output signals. It is easy to install and can be easily fixed by gluing, screwing or magnets, making it suitable for a wide range of application scenarios such as structural monitoring and crack monitoring.

The sensor is completely encapsulated in an elastomer and is therefore very robust.
