Miniature ICP® shock sensor

Shear-design sensing elements are housed in a hermetically sealed titanium case on the two miniature shock sensors, models 352A91 and 352A92. The teardrop-shaped sensors, which weigh only 0.17 grams, are mounted by adhesive bonding. The measuring ranges ±5,000 g and ±20,000 g are available, the shock resistance is up to 30,000 g. Both transducers with ICP®/IEPE interface measure in the frequency range up to 20 kHz, the resonant frequency is greater than 100 kHz. The lightweight and highly flexible integrated cable with a length of about 90 cm can be laid on the test specimen even with tight bending radii. Measurements can be made in a climatic chamber up to +163 °C, for example.
