More Pregius models from Sony for Gigabit Ethernet, Dual Gigabit Ethernet and USB 3.0
2016-10-06 03:48:15, MATRIX VISION GmbHMATRIX VISION will integrate both sensors into the current sensor families, which will be available in series production from the first quarter of 2017. Prototypes, on the other hand, can already be requested from MATRIX VISION.
Specifically, sensors will join families as follows.
As mvBlueCOUGAR-X109b, the 9 Mpixel sensor will achieve a frame rate of 20.8 Hz in the Gigabit Ethernet variant, while the 12 Mpixel will be available for order as mvBlueCOUGAR-X1012b and will achieve a frame rate of 15.1 Hz.
In the mvBlueCOUGAR-XD family, the sensors will enter as mvBlueCOUGAR-XD109b and -XD1012b, respectively, with a frame rate of 32.2 Hz (9 Mpixel) and 23.4 Hz (12 Mpixel).
As USB3 vision cameras, the sensors achieve the same frame rates. I.e. the 9 Mpixel camera works as mvBlueFOX3-2089a with maximum 32.2 Hz or as 12 Mpixel version with the order designation mvBlueFOX3 -2124a 23.4 Hz.
The Pregius sensors are predestined for demanding tasks in traffic applications such as traffic flow monitoring or driver and vehicle identification. The latter requires different exposure and shooting sequences due to the reflective traffic signs. For this case, we have built the Sequencer Mode into all MATRIX VISION cameras, with which recording sequences can be set up.
