Multicolor touch sensors with IO-Link

One sensor for all applications
The new multicolour touch sensors from ifm can be flexibly adapted to your application. Where many different sensors were needed in the past, one individually adjustable sensor is sufficient today. In a matter of seconds, normally closed / normally open functions or the colors for different operating states can be parameterized. In addition, the sensor can be set to dynamic, static or bistable switching.

Adaptable to the environment
Sensitivity adjustment allows use in very humid environments or operation with gloves. By implementing a time delay, the accidental switching of a pushbutton can be prevented. All settings remain stored, even if the sensor is used as a switch without IO-Link. In addition, the sensor counts the switching cycles for needs-based maintenance on the machine.
