New CX22B-R Rugged Data Recorder

HBM's new SomatXR CX22B-R data recorder reliably captures and stores measurement data from mobile applications, such as vehicle testing. In addition to an extended temperature range of -40 to +80 °C, the recorder's shock and vibration resistance as well as the waterproof, dustproof and shock-resistant housing in accordance with protection classes IP65 and IP67 enable it to be used in harsh environments.

Both centralized measurement systems and distributed measurement systems can be implemented. With the help of the pre-installed HBM catman measurement software, the measurement data is acquired and saved in .bin format. It contains measured values, traceability data as well as measurement and test parameters and can be easily converted into other formats. The immediate data visualization and analysis during the measurement in the field enables the user an efficient test process with the possibility to summarize the results clearly in a test report.

With the extremely robust CX22B-R data recorders for interactive testing and CX23-R with web interface for unattended testing, the Soma-tXR measurement data acquisition system offers two flexible solutions for mobile measurement tasks. In addition to the two recorders, seven equally robust measuring amplifiers are available for recording various physical quantities.
