New hygienic inductive conductivity measuring system OPTISYS IND 8100
2015-05-05 05:09:43, KROHNE Messtechnik GmbHThe new 3A and EHEDG certified measuring system is equipped with two 4...20 mA outputs for conductivity, concentration and temperature. Within the conductivity measuring range of 50 μS/cm...1,000 mS/cm, the OPTISYS IND 8100 has 14 preset range/output combinations for fast commissioning. Alternatively, the analog output can also be set freely via the touch display or via a PC with optional configuration tool. For media separation, 4 conductivity ranges can be defined via a PC. The output for concentration can be used to display the concentration of 4 factory-set media/ranges, e.g. caustic soda, nitric acid or a customer-specified medium whose concentration curve can be programmed via the 30-point linearization. The short response time of the integrated Pt100 temperature sensor (T90 < 15 s) enables fast indication of changes in media or process conditions. To avoid mixing and save costs, the corresponding conductivity (T90 < 2 s) is also displayed for rapid detection of CIP reagents.
The OPTISYS IND 8100 is configured via a touch display. This display has several selectable display modes and warnings: The background color can be set to the three colors white, green and red and as a constant or flashing display for alarms. In addition, 2 semiconductor relay contacts can be configured as limit switches. The compact version with IP67/69K housing is suitable for pipelines with small diameters > DN40 / 1 1/2". The sensor is PEEK coated and therefore suitable for use in hygienic processes or directly in concentrated acids or alkalis. Various hygienic process adapters such as Tri Clamp, DIN 11851, SMS or Varivent N are available. The OPTISYS IND 8100 is the successor of the discontinued ACM 500.
