New T12HP torque transducer ensures high-precision results over entire measuring range

The new T12HP digital torque transducer from HBM Test and Measurement supports dynamic measurements in the test bench with unprecedented precision, especially in terms of temperature stability. Thanks to a TK0 value of 0.005%/10K, temperature influences have virtually no effect on the measurement result. The resulting FlexRange™ feature of T12HP also allows users to get a highly accurate view of any portion of the full nominal measurement range.

Thus, T12HP meets the market demand for further flexibility and increased efficiency in the test cycles, for example, for the development of ever more economical engines. Thanks to the integrated and uniquely high basic accuracy of T12HP as well as the resulting FlexRange™ function, the user can perform more precise analyses in any subrange over the entire measuring range as if using a "magnifying glass". In contrast to other commercially available technologies ("Dual Range"), it is sufficient to measure different measurement tasks with only one characteristic curve. Switching to a second measuring range is a thing of the past with T12HP. The setup times at the test stand are reduced and the utilization as well as the number of tests can be increased.
