The company is proving this again with the market launch of the new DPT 200.

BD|SENSORS launches the DPT 200, a differential pressure transmitter for the highest demands on precision. The device is designed for applications in the process industry and records pressures with an accuracy of max. 0.075% FSO.

The differential pressure transmitter was specially developed for areas of the process industry, such as the chemical, petrochemical, paper or oil and gas industries and is used, for example, for level measurement in closed, pressurized vessels, monitoring of pump and filter systems, or for flow measurement. For these applications, measuring ranges from 0 ... 1 mbar to 0 ... 20 bar as well as static pressure resistance up to 400 bar are available. Among other things, the flexibility of the DPT 200 is characterized by a turndown of up to 100:1.

Another highlight is the optionally available LC display with backlight, which simplifies parameterization or reading the display. In addition, the DPT 200 can communicate via HART® protocol.

In order to ensure optimum adaptation to the respective application, it is possible to attach various diaphragm seals with different diaphragm materials - also via capillary lines.

The new DPT 200 is optionally available both as Ex ia - intrinsically safe version and as Ex d - flameproof enclosure version for applications in explosive environments.
