P.Touch - Media resistant pressure switch with touch display and IO-Link

Two switching outputs with 200 mA switching current allow direct coupling of common relays and many valves. Alternatively, an analog output is available. Via IO-Link, the sensors can also be subsequently integrated into a manufacturer-independent Industry 4.0-compliant sensor network, whereby the full functionality of the sensor is also available centrally in the network. A central warning system (predictive maintenance) is thus easy to implement, and the operation and programming of the plant can be carried out clearly from a distance. Even without direct access to the plant, it can be monitored.

Alternatively, the color touch display not only provides immediate feedback on the control variable, but also enables intuitive operation without tedious study of the manual. For quick detection of the respective status, the display colors are also programmable and thus represent another feedback option. Adjustable hysteresis, window comparator and other state-of-the-art features allow a wide range of applications.

Application finds the new pressure switch of AMSYS in particular in the process industry with relative pressures of 10 to 600 bar. Thanks to various sealing materials and the pressure connection made of 1.4404 stainless steel, even aggressive media with temperatures in the range of -25..100 °C are no problem for the P.Touch. It is connected to the piping via the G1/4" internal or external thread, the electrical connection is made via an M12 plug, which also supplies the 9..30 V supply voltage.
With its intuitive touch display on the one hand and its IO-Link capability on the other, AMSYS offers the P.Touch, a pressure switch that combines both simple handling on site and future viability in a networked working environment.
