Safety temperature limiter: technically on the safe side
The Safety-TL4896 meets the requirements of EN 14597, EN 61508 and SIL2 as a safety temperature limiter and as a safety temperature monitor.
It allows direct mounting into the control panel or control cabinet door. This eliminates the need for an additional display on the top-hat rail. The configuration of the Safety-TL4896 (STB) is done directly via the keys on the front display. No additional software is required. The integrated analog output for the temperature signal eliminates the need for another measurement chain for the signal to the PLC or SCADA world. The pre-alarm provides early warning of critical situations and thus avoids unnecessary downtime.

Two in one
The safety temperature limiter Safety-TL4896 is indicator and control unit in one, thus additional devices such as reset buttons or digital indicators in the control panel are saved.

Adjustable pre-alarm
Unnecessary downtimes can be avoided by the adjustable pre-alarm, even before the limit value is reached.

Configuration without additional software
Programming is done via the device keys and the front display. There is no need to use a PC and additional software.
