TinyTag TGE-01xx: New CO₂ data logger for room air monitoring

Monitoring CO2 concentration in buildings is an important task in building automation today. Today, increasingly dense building facades require controlled ventilation in order to lose as little energy as possible through unnecessary air exchange on the one hand, but to provide good, oxygen-rich air on the other.

The unobtrusive TGE-0010 and TGE-0011 loggers use a self-calibrating infrared sensor to detect carbon dioxide levels in indoor air. They are supplied with voltage via a power supply unit and have a small LED that indicates malfunction or power interruptions. In case of power failure, the measured values in the memory are protected by a backup battery.

Exceeding of adjustable upper limits can be signaled by a flashing LED. The recorded data can be transferred to a LapTop via USB cable and then processed further with the TinyTag Explorer software, which is also easy to use.

The TGE-0010 measures CO2 concentrations in the range of 0 ... 2,000 ppm, while the TGE-0011 also covers higher concentrations of 0 ... 5,000 ppm.
