VdS recognition for infrared fire detection

For the Orglmeister innovation Pyrosmart, an IR system for automatic fire protection temperature monitoring, no EN specifications exist yet. // VdS has now verified the effectiveness and reliability of this device in accordance with a specially prepared test agreement.

In the typically polluted/dust-laden atmosphere of the recycling, waste, wood and paper industries and forbfree storage areas, conventional smoke and fire detection equipment can hardly be used. For the protection of such enterprises the Wallufer specialist Orglmeister developed an infrared camera equipment monitoring independently by swiveling/tilting drive, which localizes and announces critical heat sources at an early stage. The effectiveness and reliability of the Pyrosmart system has now been proven by a specially designed innovation test at VdS Schadenverhütung.
