The AL780 is an AnisotropicMagnetoResistive (AMR) position sensor. The sensor consists of two Wheatstone bridges. The sine/cosine output signals are proportional to the magnetic field direction. The MR strips of this FixPitch Sensor are adapted to a pole length of 5 mm. The AL780 is available as a bare die. For SMD mounting the sensor is available in a SIL6 or LGA package.
