Thermocouples type T consist of wires of the highest material purity and uniformity to minimize measurement errors due to cold forming and material inconsistencies.
They are particularly suitable for use in steam autoclaves, CIP/SIP, incubators, refrigerators and freezers, as well as in applications with liquid nitrogen, in freeze dryers and other demanding environments at extreme temperatures.
Designed for all extreme humidity applications, the new Autobond thermocouples reduce condensate ingress by up to 90% over conventional standard insulation. Particularly in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, condensation moisture penetrating through the insulation can become a problem.
To avoid unnecessary cable tangles and achieve more precise results, the use of feedthroughs is recommended when using thermocouples.
The TÜV approved stainless steel feedthroughs guarantee maximum density for the introduction of thermocouples into pressure vessels such as steam autoclaves and process lines. Up to 18 thermocouples can be easily, individually and orderly inserted into the elegant lid with bayonet lock.
The feedthrough can be used up to a maximum pressure of 5 bar and a maximum temperature of 150 °C.
