The Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) is based on proven MEMS acceleration and angular rate sensors to detect minute, linear and rotational motion. The integrated electronics allow separate analog voltage outputs for all 6 degrees of freedom and a flexible power supply from 6 to 40 VDC. Based on a modular principle, the IMUs are manufactured according to the specific application. For this purpose, acceleration sensors of the LN (Low Noise) technology variant and industrial grade angular rate sensors are used, which means that different measuring ranges can also be flexibly combined.
