DCL 551 was developed for hydrostatic level and gauge measurement in wastewater as well as for viscous and pasty media. Base element is a robust and highly overloadable capacitive ceramic sensor.The level probe with RS485 interface uses Modbus RTU communication protocol. The Modbus protocol is based on a master-slave architecture, where up to 247 slaves can be polled by a master - the data is transmitted in binary form.
