Due to its very small dimensions, this sensor can be used universally. Due to the missing measuring chamber (flush diaphragm), this sensor is suitable for all measurements where residues of the material to be measured can cause problems. The range of applications can be further extended with various threaded and weld-on adapters available.

The miniature pressure sensors are made entirely of titanium and therefore have excellent corrosion resistance. The membrane serving as the measuring element is machined out of the solid material. Their inner side is equipped with strain gauges. These convert the deflection of the diaphragm caused by a pressure into a change in electrical resistance, which can be amplified, measured and further processed by electronics to be connected downstream.
The sensors are built up to the measuring range 20 bar in the measuring mode against atmosphere (relative), from the measuring range 50 bar in the measuring mode against enclosed atmosphere.
