The SM6841 are absolute pressure sensors that are neither compensated nor amplified. They have the properties of a measuring cell and output the differential bridge voltage in mV.
The absolute pressure sensors are offered in a SOIC-8 housing (4 x 5 x 3 mm3) for manifold mounting and are therefore suitable for reflow mounting. They are especially recommended for cost-sensitive large-scale productions.
The SM6841 sensors are suitable for applications where the user wants to use his own signal processing and has the ability to self-calibrate his sensor depending on the accuracy requirements.
Advantages of the non-balanced sensor are the wide working temperature range, the high resolution and the possibility of real-time measurement.
