For particularly challenging applications, pulse sensors with Hall or magneto-resistive sensor elements are often preferred to inductive proximity switches. The operating frequency of dynamic pulse sensors ranges from a few Hz to approx. 25 kHz, and of static pulse sensors from 0 to approx. 20 kHz. Double pulse sensor 132151-020 can generate phase-shifted pulse sequences, whose succession also indicates the direction of rotation and wheel travel.
