The TB225 temperature limiter is used wherever thermal processes need to be monitored and the plant must be transferred to a safe operating state in the event of a fault. The device has universal inputs to which double thermocouples and Pt100 sensors as well as standard signals (0/4..20mA or 0/2..10V) can be connected. The safety function is provided via the main relay with freely configurable limit value. There is also another relay with independently adjustable limit value for additional signaling. Furthermore, the TB225 offers an analog output which can be freely defined within the measuring range of the temperature input. Resetting the device in the operating mode as temperature limiter (TB) can be done via the front keys and the integrated graphic display or via an external pushbutton or voltage. The TB225 has a safe galvanic 3-way isolation between input, output and auxiliary voltage.
