The TC125 temperature transmitters convert temperature-dependent resistors (Pt100 / Pt1000) and thermocouples (J, K, S) into standard signals (0/4..20 mA or 0/2..10 V). Applications with signals from the Ex area or requirements with higher interference immunity require galvanic isolation. This is especially true for grounded temperature sensors. The TC125 has a 3-way galvanic isolation between input, output and auxiliary voltage. For PT100, Pt1000 and thermocouples, 8 preconfigured measuring ranges each are available, which can be adapted with rotary potentiometers with regard to zero point and span. When using thermocouples, internal temperature compensation can be activated or deactivated by measuring the terminal temperature. Due to an intrinsically safe input, the use in applications in the EX area is possible.
