Carefully protected by a special resin mixture, the strips are waterproof. They are glued to the test object with suitable adhesive and reliable measurement results are obtained even under water (the insulation resistance hardly changes even after 100 h of use at a water pressure of 100 bar). The protective cover is highly flexible and the strips can be easily installed even on curved surfaces.
