In these half-bridge strips compensated in wide temperature ranges, the active resistance wire is located together with a compensation wire in a metallic tube, a pressed in insulating powder of MgO. The tube is welded to a carrier plate, which is attached to the target by spot welding. The connecting wires terminate in a three-core MI cable mounted airtight on the strain gauge, to which a flexible cable connects.
