Vehicle scales with SysTec weighing electronics
The company Lippe Agrar has commissioned Waagenbau Dohmen GmbH with the realization of new vehicle scales with SysTec weighing electronics of the type IT8000E. At two locations of the agricultural trading company, vehicles are weighed that are loaded and unloaded with agricultural goods.
The aim is for the new truck scales, in combination with existing and new silos, to enable largely automated vehicle loading and weighing by the drivers. Efficient weighing processes and robust weighing electronics are important for the productivity of agricultural logistics.

Flexible with weighing terminal IT8000E
The calibratable SysTec weighing terminalsysTec weighing terminal IT8000E has proven itself in truck scale applications and offers great flexibility in the connection of load cells or weighing bridges. Weighing bridges. The compact and robust design in a closed stainless steel housing enables use even under difficult operating conditions. With the TRUCK/ONLINE E application software, SysTec offers many useful standard components for weighing vehicles. Trigger initial weighing with transponder card
Every driver entering the premises has a transponder card on which the customer data of the company for which he is driving are stored. With these transponder cards, drivers can initiate the initial weighing at the self-service terminal by holding them up to a scanner. The customer data is assigned to the initial weighing data. The IT8000E weighing terminal enables intermediate storage of the initial weighing in legal metrology.

Vehicle loading at the silos
After successful initial weighing, the driver can drive under one of the silos and hold his transponder card in front of a scanner on the silo.All scanners are connected to the DoProfi software via a network and release a contact on a dead man's switch. By pressing the dead man's switch, the driver can load his vehicle himself. In the DoProfi software, product grades can be assigned to the silos so that by holding cards at the scanner, the software can determine which grade was loaded. This grade is assigned to the weighing set. In addition, it is possible to block loading at individual silos or to release it only for certain customers.

Second weighing
After loading, the vehicle goes back to the scale for the second weighing. The driver scans his transponder card. The data assigned to the card is stored together with the product type and weight values and can be passed on to an inventory management system. The customer receives a receipt printout and can leave the scale. The self-service concept thus enables autonomous 24-hour operation.
