If more than 40 big bags per 1200 kg net weight per container are to be filled per hour, particularly powerful weighing electronics are required. This is why SIBELCO chose the IT8000E legal-for-trade weighing terminal from SysTec for the fully automatic EMDE filling line.

In Dessel, Belgium, SIBELCO operates the fully automatic big bag filling plant for cristobalite. Thanks to the powerful weighing and control technology, up to 40 big bags per hour can be filled. SysTec's conformity-assessed weighing terminals are used to ensure that the filled containers can be calibrated. To optimize the performance of the filling line, a weighed container was installed above the filling station, which discharges the cristobalite into the big bag. This allows simultaneous filling of the container above during big bag handling times.
