SysTec weighing terminals in use in innovative waste disposal plant

Rheinische Baustoffwerke (RBS) is a large sand, gravel and building materials producer with disposal capacities. In Hürth Ville, RBS operates a modern landfill facility for mineral waste. To unlock efficiencies in the truck scales on the site, RBS relies on an automated weighing solution designed by PFREUNDT and equipped with smart SysTec weighing terminals.

It covers all processes from the completely automated weighing process, including the initial and secondary weighing of the trucks, to the material sample documentation during the tipping processes and the commercial processing at the exit," explains Mark Terbrack, application consultant and specialist for system solutions at PFREUNDT.

Check-in: Entrance scalesThe two truck scales in the entrance area of the landfill operate with an automatic check-in. Truck drivers who already have an RFID card from RBS with recorded master data for the loaded material can simply hold it up to the reader at the truck scale's self-service terminal - there is no need to get out of the driver's cab, the processes run quickly
