Experience report: Truck scale with SysTec weighing terminals
2022-06-03 13:33:07, SysTec Systemtechnik und Industrieautomation GmbHThe network and interface capability of the SysTec weighing electronics is of great advantage here. Four different systems communicate with each other: the IT8000E controller, the ERP system, the DoProfi software, and the silo management system. The personnel in the offices have the weight values on the SysTec weighing terminals in view at all times. On the factory floor, the weigher also sees the verifiable weight values on the operator terminal running the PC ScaleView software. The stewards (or drivers) can use an intercom system to contact Scheller employees if they have any questions. The complete weighing process is monitored by camera so that all operations are documented. A storage of the video data takes place on the server.
The most important facts
- 2 production facilities: Durum wheat mill with 200 tons daily capacity; soft wheat mill with 300 tons daily capacity
- Calibratable truck scales with self-weighing
- Automated license plate recognition when the truck drives onto the scale with data retrieval in the ERP system
- .Simple control of the zero point via the large display before driving onto the scale - with correction option via keys on the operator terminal
Customer benefits - Optimization and acceleration of weighing through partially automated processes after license plate recognition
- Personnel relief through intuitive self-service stations and digitized weighing processes
- Calibrated weight determination - smart weighing systems
- Easy integration of the weighing terminal into overall plant through a variety of interfaces
- Robust and durable SysTec weighing terminals for outdoor use (IP69K)
- User-friendly application software for truck scales
- 4 different systems communicate with each other: the IT8000E control system, the ERP system, the DoProfi software and the silo management
- High safety: The complete weighing is monitored by cameras (incl. video storage on the server
