The precise, very robust SZG81-WDGA length measuring system from Wachendorff Automation is designed for use in the often harsh everyday industrial environment.
The various assembly methods provide a very high flexibility: Rope exit up, down, forward, backward. In addition, the compact design allows the system to be used even in the most confined spaces.
The wire-draw system is quickly mounted and, with its high-precision mechanics and electronics, offers reliable and precise length measurement in the range 0 mm to 6,250 mm, as well as all the advantages resulting from absolute length measurement. Z. For example, the position value is retained even if the supply voltage fails and can be queried immediately after the supply voltage is restored. This means that a reference run is not necessary and the process can be continued immediately without any loss of time. The resolution can be freely configured by the user and changed at any time.
An optimally tuned suspension, IP65 protection and a nylon-coated stainless steel cable guarantee a very long service life even under extreme ambient conditions, in the wide temperature range from -40 °C to 80 °C.

An extremely compact and robust absolute encoder of the WDGA series with EnDra® technology is already mounted in this system and designed for CANopen, SSI or PROFIBUS-DP as required.
