Advantech: New industrial monitors with capacitive MultiTouch

On the operator side, the multi-touch industrial monitor meets the IP65 protection class, the display is inserted into a frame made of magnesium die-casting alloy. The surface of the TouchScreen consists of a highly scratch-resistant and chemical-resistant glass pane, which considerably expands the range of applications. The screen can be very easily latched into a suitable cutout with the retaining clips sunk into the case.

The screen is equipped with capacitive multitouch: this allows applications to respond to up to four simultaneous touch points. Another improvement is the screwable cable connections.
