Althen Sensors & Controls expands its IoT portfolio

new wireless IoT monitoring system consists of a network of measurement nodes that can send data to any computer network or cloud platform via an IoT gateway. Two different sensors are currently offered: The industrial measuring nodes measure and monitor vibrations (3-axial) as well as the surface temperature of (rotating) equipment such as pumps, motors, agitators and mixers. The room or ambient measurement nodes monitor air quality, temperature, humidity, brightness, noise level and air pressure.

The battery-powered transducers can be easily and cost-effectively mounted on existing equipment. They can also be part of a large-scale network to collect sensor data in smart buildings, cities and factories.
