AVA Vibration Systems
2023-05-09 22:57:25, AVA Monitoring AB Founded in Gothenburg, Sweden, AVA Monitoring AB is a major global provider of noise and vibration monitoring solutions. based on more than 40 years of measurement experience and technological innovation, AVA Monitoring can provide fully automated measurement systems that easily protect people, buildings, infrastructure, soil, air and waterways from negative environmental impacts, and every ground vibration can be automatically recorded and measured. When construction can move forward and communities can grow with minimal disruption, that's when AVA is satisfied with its work.
Vibration Monitoring
AVA's vibration measurement solution consists of the web-based measurement system AvaNet and the vibration detector AvaTrace M80. Designed to operate unmanned for extended periods in harsh outdoor climates, the AvaTrace M80 requires no external power supply, the vibration detector is remotely controlled via a standard web browser, and measurement data can be read and shared in real time.
Vibration Measurement Meter AvaTrace M80
Product Features
Easy to manage in the field, start and stop measurements with the push of a button Cover the battery-powered instrument and leave it in the snow, cold and rain for extended periods of time. You can read metrics and control instrument settings remotely from your browser, making management easier.
With 240 days of battery operation, the AvaTrace M80 can measure peak and curve progress through up to 4 measurement channels. The very energy efficient design provides up to 8 months of battery life on regular alkaline batteries (6D batteries).
With long recording times, the AvaTrace M80 can measure curve progress for up to several minutes with optional pre-trigger time lengths, making it particularly suitable for automated vibration measurements of train traffic.
Applications
Blasting
Piling
Packing
Road and rail transport
Application Scenarios
Blasting 2 million cubic meters of rock in Brose, Sweden. With AvaNet Vibration, Rock-safe saves time and can easily share measurement data with Brose's stakeholders. Brose is growing and the demand for commercial land has increased. To make room for the demand, the municipality is now making a major investment in Viared västra, a new area just a stone's throw from the center of Brose, which is currently one of the largest blasting sites in Sweden, says Miikka Kortelainen, area manager of Bergsäker. By the time the area is ready for use in 2017, two million cubic meters of rock will have been blasted.
Vibration-proofing of presses
Viared is strategically located adjacent to the highway, but at the same time there are workplaces and homes nearby to consider. Miikka Kortelainen says Brostinen is located east of the blast site." This is perhaps the most sensitive zone, so extra care was chosen when blasting to double the inventory and risk area so as not to disrupt people's lives.
Intelligent measurement
After extensive risk analysis, the vibration measurements of the blast continued. This is where AvaNet Vibration comes into play. AvaNet takes the coordinates of the measurement points and then automatically calculates the current guidance value. This distance correction is the strength of this work, and customers can also log in and can view everything in real time.
Versatile instrumentation
For Viared West measurements, many different sensors are used with the vibration detector AvaTrace, vertical, horizontal and tri-axial geophones, accelerometers and air shock microphones to record data.
For us, long run times are important, says Miikka Kortelainen. The field instruments require little supervision, which saves us a lot of time. Another advantage is that they are powered by ordinary batteries and can be found in any store if we or our customers don't have them on hand.
