AVA monitoring systems for noise measurement, based on the AvaNet measurement system and the Sonitus EM2030 noise detector, are ideal for highly available and accurate monitoring of noise when left unattended. Measuring and uploading measurement data is fully automated and you can access the latest information directly from your computer, tablet or smartphone at any time. No installation is required; simply plug in and the noise detector is ready to go.
Noise meter Sonitus EM2030
The Sonitus EM2030 noise meter is ideal for situations where long-term noise/sound measurements are required with high availability and accuracy, such as construction sites, industry or transport facilities. As with the vibration detector, measurement and uploading of measurement data is fully automatic.
Product features
Ruggedly built, the Sonitus EM2030 can measure noise anywhere, anytime, with measurement and operation monitoring carried out continuously by a reliable device capable of withstanding harsh outdoor climates.
Easy to operate and unmanned for noise measurements, the EM2030 is particularly suitable for unmanned measurement projects. No on-site installation is required, just plug in and let the noise meter get to work communicating with AVA's cloud service AvaNet for remote control via automatic upload of measurement data and a web browser.
24/7 continuous noise measurement and operational monitoring
Optional extra battery, when 230V is not available, use the powerful noise detector battery pack 12V battery to complete.
Weatherproof microphone
Automatic alarm via email and SMS
Applications
Construction sites and infrastructure projects
Industrial noise measurements
Monitoring sound environments
Events such as concerts

Construction of bridges over complex terrain
Due to the high safety requirements and complex geotechnical structures, extensive surveying is required when constructing new bascule bridges over the Södertälje canal.
The railway across the Södertälje pontoon bridge is mainly used by commuter trains, but there are also some goods trains, with a total of around 190 trains passing through each day. But the old bridge was not built to meet the requirements of today's rail and sea transport. It needs to be able to carry heavier trains and ships that pass deeper under it. In addition, the constant maintenance work disrupted rail traffic and cost money. The railways therefore decided to build a new bridge. Under contract to MT Höjsgaard, AVA Monitoring was responsible for carrying out extensive surveys in the very complex terrain.
The measurement consultants from MT Höjgaard measured the temperature, air pressure and air temperature, bearing pressure, noise, acceleration, movement, inclination and vibration of the steel bridge. The measurement equipment used was a 16-channel AvaLogger M2 (4-20 mA) with temperature sensor, inclinometer and high-precision inclinometer, a 1-channel Checkpoint with Diver (water level data logger), a 4-channel AvaLogger (0-100 mV), pressure sensor types Druck and BAT-tip as well as Monitoring is continuous, adjustable against alarms and alarm levels, and measurements can be checked in real time via the AvaNet network system
