Data logger for water level monitoring

The HOBO MX2001 series data loggers are suitable for monitoring water levels in streams, lakes, wetlands and intertidal areas. In addition, they allow the recording of the groundwater level. The loggers feature a Bluetooth® Smart interface for wireless communication with an iPhone®, iPod touch®, iPad® or Android® device.

The HOBOmobile® app for iOS and Android enables configuration and data download as well as export of data for further analysis. In addition, it is possible to conveniently set the limit values which, when exceeded, will trigger the logger alarm. In the optionally switchable burst logging mode, the logging intervals are shortened if the current measured value is outside the target range. The loggers can also generate minimum, maximum, average and standard deviation statistics. The calculated statistical values are stored in the memory in addition to the current measured value.

The loggers have an external pressure sensor with ceramic sensor element, a robust housing and an additional barometric pressure sensor inside the housing, which allows automatic compensation of variations in barometric pressure.
