Made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic, these rugged sensors with dimensions of 32x20x12 mm are ideally suited for applications in harsh environments. Mechanical protection up to IP67 and IP69K can meet or exceed the industrial cleaning requirements needed for applications in the food, pharmaceutical, and beverage industries.
Advanced autocollimation optics and an adaptive threshold system ensure perfect and reliable detection of transparent materials. Precise and sharp laser beams detect very small objects at very high speeds. An extensive selection of optical functions with complete light emission options is available. Special models for transparent objects, contrast and distance sensors make the S45 family product portfolio the most complete series of miniature sensors on the market.
Designed with a focus on simplifying installation and operation, the S45 family is equipped with an easy-to-use teach-in function. PNP, NPN and push-pull outputs are available.
