New milestone for force measurements in the test field

The U10 force sensor from measurement technology specialist HBM Test and Measurement (HBM) impresses with its precision and low linearity deviation from 0.02 % over the entire measurement range. This accuracy extends the tolerance limits in production processes and consequently increases yield.

The robustness of the transducer, which is available in various degrees of protection up to IP68, is a great advantage, especially in outdoor use under the most adverse environmental conditions. For example, the temperature influence on the zero signal of the transducer is reduced to as little as 0.0075 percent per 10 K for a 200% calibration.

4,000 configuration options allow flexible adaptation of the rotationally symmetrical, low-profile U10 force transducer to a wide variety of measurement tasks. Typical fields of application are tensile and compressive force measurements in test stands or material testing machines as well as force monitoring in production.
