Relay module with USB interface

The relay module is a new development from B+B based on the previous relay card.
It is suitable to output switching signals from the PC and to query status signals. The standard rail housing of the card can be installed directly in control cabinets. The switching states of the inputs and outputs are displayed by means of LEDs
. The connection is made to the USB port of the PC (USB 1.1 /2.0 /3.0 compatible).

The relays are suitable for mains voltage 230 V AC with currents up to 8 A. The changeover contact is routed separately for each relay to the terminal strip. The total of 8 relays are divided into two groups of four relays each. The relays of a group of four may only be connected with the same voltage potential. The two relay groups are isolated from each other via air and creepage distances of 6 mm and can therefore also be operated with different voltage potentials.

The module also has eight inputs for mains voltage (230 V AC). The inputs are divided into two groups of four inputs each, which refer to a common reference potential.
The two input groups are also isolated from each other via air and creepage distances of 8 mm and can be operated with different voltage potentials.
