Device Server of the EKI-136x series

The EKI-136x are designed for use in areas where signal strength and reliability may be compromised. To counteract these problems, these models use MIMO 2x2 technology, which transmits two signals simultaneously and ensures greater efficiency because they cannot be blocked by other devices and thus arrive intact.

To further support reliability, the EKI-136x use fast-roaming design. This means that when the FTF moves between access points (APs) and the signal weakens, it will quickly move to a new AP without losing the records. The speed at which the signal makes the change depends on the structure of the access points and the configuration of the EKI.
With its small size, the EKI-136x fits into any automated guided vehicle (AGV), weighs only 800 grams, and offers a range of mounting options and antenna extension capability.

In areas other than FTFs where an EKI is permanently installed, the models can establish peer-to-peer connectivity without relying on a relatively dense network of wireless access points. This saves expensive and inconvenient cable laying.
