MSR165: Shock and vibration up to 200g

The extended measuring range of ±200 g is always useful when recording events in which very large forces suddenly occur. Examples of this are transport monitoring of sensitive goods, in aerospace, or in drop and impact tests in industry and research. The data recording of the triaxial accelerometer optionally starts when an acceleration threshold is exceeded or at a specific point in time. 32 Measured values are recorded before the shock event so that the history of the shock can also be analyzed in a g analysis. Thus, the user not only knows that a hard blow occurred, but also recognizes the exact course of the event.

There are also two new options in the power supply for long-term measurements:

For a longer recording period of up to five years - required, for example, if transport, storage conditions and operating conditions of machines to be exported are to be documented over a long period - the MSR165 can now be equipped with replaceable batteries (3.6 V, 2 x 7700 mAh, Li-SOCl2). The batteries are housed in an industrial-grade, waterproof aluminum case.
The MSR Powerpack is an autonomous charging station with a capacity of 5000 mAh, which can recharge the internal battery of the data logger during operation. The charging interval of the device is individually adjustable: 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days.
